Across the greater Janesville region, DSB Technologies and its 350 employees are finding innovative ways to give back to the community they’ve called ‘home’ for more than 40 years.
DSB Technologies, a world leader in the manufacturing of powder metal components, understands that a strong community empowers everyone. That’s why DSB Technologies continues to partner with KANDU Industries through event sponsorships and community leadership—especially for local residents who need a support system that empowers them to reach their life goals.
“It’s great to see local people reach their potential through authentic experiences,” said Kim Adamany, executive vice president of operations at DSB Technologies. “Growing up in Janesville, I’ve always had a strong connection with the people, and believe that supporting those who are closest to us strengthens the community through a culture of giving . . . KANDU programs and events have opened up opportunities for DSB employees to engage in a meaningful way, and one that impacts the lives of our employees and our neighbors.”
DSB has been an ongoing sponsor of KANDU events like the most recent Cheers with the Steers fundraiser, the Dragons on the Rock dragon boat races, and the annual Grapes and Hops wine and beer tasting event held at the Revv Aviation hangar at the Janesville Airport. In fact, DSB was such a generous supporter of Grapes and Hops 2023 that Kim Adamany was surprised with a discovery flight over Rock County during the event, courtesy of another sponsor Revv Aviation. Not only was DSB a major sponsor of these events but the company bought a large number of additional admission tickets so their employees could experience the feeling of pride that comes with giving back to the community.

All proceeds raised from the events DSB sponsors support KANDU’s mission to provide increased opportunities and support for adults with disabilities in Rock County.
